Description

This wall is a part of the memorial ground dedicated to all the people who died on estonia, one of Sweden's biggest boat tragedies.

The writings on the wall are the names of the persons who drowned that night.

Its built in a way that it feels like a roofless room surrounded by trees so the inside is really moody.

I think this is beautiful. A fitting memorial to those that lost their lives. To me the extreme foreground visually signifies the death of those people and is dark and foreboding. The background signifies light and Heaven and ultimate peace. Top Marks.

Nice comp and selective focus!

I find the background light slightly overexposed. I think your idea and cause is good but I would still have wanted to see just a little more from the background wall.

The frame is a bit cheesy too. A thin black one is more appropriate for this one I think.

I would try to face the camera sligthly more towards the lefthand wall and lower the angle so you don't get the sky at all in this one.

For those who don't know the horrible story please read this for a few min:

Oh yes, I remember the tragedy well...
I agree with Patrick and I think the left side looks really good, the right side needs some work:)

very dramatic.. like it but the overexposed spot is distracting... I have to watch out for that myself... gosh so complicated... nice shot though!!
